🚀 Major Update in Device Management

We’re excited to introduce one of the most significant updates to Applivery’s Device Management platform, bringing powerful new capabilities for advanced control, automation, and targeting.

🔓 Interpolation — Now Generally Available

Easily reference and replace dynamic values (like device names, user details, or custom attributes) within your configurations and policies. This allows for more flexible, personalized, and automated deployments.

In addition, there are some awesome new features that are still in Private Access for selected customers on Enterprise plans only:

🛠 Policy Composition

Until now, Applivery only allowed one policy per device, which meant that all settings, apps, restrictions, and properties had to be centralized.

Policy Composition allows now to have multiple policies for a single device, each one containing multiple configuration profiles, apps, properties, or certificates, which will allow you to group and prioritize your device settings using weights from 1 to 1000. – for example, a given device can now have 3 policies:

• Policy 1: General restrictions and configurations.
• Policy 2: User-specific configurations.
• Policy 3: Customized configurations based on user and device behaviour.

🎯 Device Audiences

Segment your devices into smart audiences based on device or user properties and metadata such as OS version, device model, enrollment type, or custom attributes. Perfect for targeted deployments and phased rollouts.

⚡ Automation Rules

The perfect companion for Device Audiences. Set up automatic actions triggered by specific events or conditions — for example, automatically applying a new policy when a device joins a certain Device Audience or updating a configuration when a certificate nears expiration.

📜 Advanced Certificate Management

Manage, deploy, and renew digital certificates directly from Applivery, ensuring devices maintain secure access to your corporate resources without manual intervention. This includes a new infrastructure component that will allow you to connect Applivery with your own Certificate provider for automated certificate issuing and renewal.
